Kaia Gerber gives nod to mom Cindy Crawford with 2024 Met Gala look

Kaia Gerber appeared to be a vision of her supermodel mother Cindy Crawford as she walked the steps of the 2024 Met Gala on Monday, May 6th.

Following the theme, Garden of Time, Gerber donned a Prada strapless, floor-length gown, which featured big sequins. She paired it simply with silver sandals and let her gleaming diamond jewellery.

As for her hairdo, she opted for a voluminous, side-parted Old Hollywood hairdo. The hairstyle appeared to be a nod to her mother, who often wore a similarly voluminous, 1960s siren-esque style on the catwalk in the 1990s.

Gerber was surprisingly not joined by her boyfriend, Austin Butler. The Bottoms actress and Butler attended the Met Gala together in 2022 and skipped out last year.

It marked the model’s second Met Gala appearance ever, in which she wore a semi-sheer gown dripping in clear beads, by Alexander McQueen. Next to her, Butler looked suave in a black suit and undone silk tie.

Gerber is no stranger to the modelling scene as she has been in the industry for some time. She even nabbed the breakthrough model of the year award at The Daily Front Row's 2019 Fashion Media Awards at New York Fashion Week.
