'Home and Away' stars Sarah Roberts, James Stewart part ways

Sara Roberts called it quits with her husband, James Stewart, five years after tying the knot.

The 39-year-old actress revealed the shocking news during an interview with Steller Magazine, Daily Mail reported on Saturday, April 20.

"I just want to say that I am divorced," the Home and Away star told the publication.

Shedding light on her decision to part ways with her husband, Roberts explained, "Sometimes people grow apart, and that’s okay… I got to a point where I realised, I couldn’t grow in the way I wanted to within this particular relationship."

The DJ and Stewart exchanged vows in 2019 following their engagement in November 2018.

The 48-year-old stage actor proposed to Roberts in the same restaurant where they had their first date a year ago.

The now estranged couple got married in July 2019 at Luttrellstown Castle on the outskirts of Dublin.

The sad revelation comes years after speculation swirled about the couple’s split.

Split rumours previously sparked when Stewart was absent from the premiere of Robert’s film Wog Boys Forever in Melbourne back in October 2022.

The Daily Telegraph reported that time, the Breakers star was "nowhere to be seen on the red carpet" and was no longer following his wife on Instagram account.

However, then Roberts denied any break-up news.
