Taylor Swift says 'she writes best for worst men' in her album's summary
Taylor Swift seemingly addressed her past relationships in her new album The Tortured Poets Department
Taylor Swift left the media industry and the internet in a frenzy following the release of The Tortured Poets Department.
For the unversed, the globally known musician released her new album on Friday, April 19, which includes 31 songs.
In Summation, the summary poem of her new album, Swift wrote, "As you might all unfortunately recall / I had been struck with a case of a restricted humanity / Which explains my plea here today of temporary insanity."
In her album and summary letter, the Bad Blood singer hinted at her breakup with longtime boyfriend Joe Alwyn and brief romantic relationship with Matty Healy.
She wrote, "And so I was out of the oven and into the microwave / Out of the slammer and into a tidal wave."
While hinting at her past relationships, Swift said, "A smirk creeps onto this poet's face / Because it's the worst men that I write best."
It is pertinent to mention that The Tortured Poets Department is Swift's eleventh studio album, which she announced at the Grammys in February.
