Prince William returned to public duties for the first time since Kate Middleton announced her diagnosis with an undisclosed form of cancer.
The Prince of Wales visited a food distribution charity Surplus to Supper to highlight community efforts to curb food waste.
During the engagement, the royal interacted with founders of the organization as well as volunteers, who are equipped with collecting food that would otherwise go to landfill from local retailers, wholesalers, manufacturers, and caterers, according to Rebecca English of the Daily Mail.
In videos shared by the royal author on X, formerly Twitter, William could be seen cutting vegetables as he received more insight into the charity work.
As per reports, the future King of England donated items from his own kitchen to help further the cause.
Prince William’s latest appearance is significant as it’s the first time he stepped out in public after the Princess of Wales went public about undergoing treatment for cancer last mnth.
William and Kate, along with their kids, jetted off to Norfolk estate shortly after to spend a three-week Easter break in privacy.
