Steve Martin's documentary, 'STEVE! (martin) a documentary in 2 pieces' in NYC over the weekend
Selena Gomez showed up to support her father figure Steve Martin for the premiere of his new documentary, STEVE! (martin) a documentary in 2 pieces in New York City.
The pop icon, 31, got all glammed up to join Martin on the red carpet as his new documentary hit the big screens over the weekend.
She wore a black, off-the-shoulder gown with bow detailing along the ruffled neckline. She paired the dress with black stockings and some Louboutins and kept her hair in a slick bun, exuding elegance and sophistication.
The Only Murders In The Building co-stars couldn’t contain their smiles as they posed next to each other on the red carpet.
At one point, they even doubled over with laughter – a snap that Gomez shared to her Instagram Stories.
“Proud of you,” she wrote next to the photo.
Per the series’ synopsis, the documentary “dives into his extraordinary story from two distinct points of view, with companion documentaries that feature never-before-seen footage and raw insights into Steve’s personal and professional trials and triumphs."
The first part, called Then, is a “chronicle of Steve Martin’s early struggles and meteoric rise, as he revolutionised stand-up comedy. The second part, Now, is set in “the golden years of his acting career, he reflects on the transformation that led to happiness in his art and personal life.”
