Prince Harry, who said goodbye to the Firm in 2020 and relocated to the US, doesn't 'fit into the big picture of the working royals', a royal expert has claimed.
"I don’t think Harry fits into the big picture of the working royals. He has his own life now in the US and pursuing his various ventures with Meghan," Pauline Maclaran, professor at Royal Holloway, told Express UK.
Sharing her thoughts about Harry's possible return to the royal fold, the expert said: "I can’t see him coming back into any royal role anytime soon, especially given all the slurs he has levelled at several members of the royal family.”
Pauline Maclaran, referring to Harry’s 2022 interview with US TV host Oprah Winfrey and his 2023 memoir Spare, said: "In addition, I’m sure it is seen as crucial to protect the privacy of the King and Kate as they go through their treatments, and I don’t think Harry can be trusted to keep confidences."
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex could return to the UK in May to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games.
There are speculations that feuding brothers Harry and William could reunite and start to heal their rift, not least because of Kate's health diagnosis.
