He highlighted a significant milestone: Rocky and his wrestling partner, "Mr. USA" Tony Atlas, made history by becoming the first-ever Black Heavyweight Tag Team Champions for the WWE on December 10, 1983.
The WWE Smackdown! star praised his father's resilience and trailblazing spirit, acknowledging his significant contributions to paving the way for men of color in various realms of sports and entertainment.
Dwayne opened up about his regrets regarding his late father. The 51 year old expressed deep sorrow of his sudden passing, who died of a heart attack on January 15, 2020.
He lamented the lack of closure, regretting not having the opportunity to bid farewell to his father and reconcile their complex father-son relationship before his untimely death.
