Joe Jonas’ fans might have lost the biggest opportunity while high fiving the singer.
On Monday, February 19, Jonas, 34, posted a hilarious video on TikTok showing him "hyping up" runners as they go for evening runs.
He extended his arm and gave high fives in the video.
While some runners returned the favour, others brushed by Jonas and disregarded his attempt at the gesture.
The fact that none of the runners seemed to recognise the singer was one thing they all regretted while reacting to the clip later.
“Hyping up strangers with high-fives during their 6pm run,” he wrote over the post with Natasha Bedingfield’s Pocketful of Sunshine for audio in the background.
“Don’t leave me hanging ,” the Jonas Brother singer captioned the post.
Fans rushed to react to the opportunity they lost.
“I literally ran right past him in Brooklyn and was wondering why I was being recorded & he was trying to high five me! Didn’t realize who he was!!” one follower who didn’t recognise Jonas commented.
“Imagine dodging a stranger’s high five only to get home, scroll tiktok, and find out it was Joe,” another wrote, with a third social media user cracked a joke, “When they realize the weird guy high giving everyone is JOE JONAS.”
Before embarking on his 2024 leg of The Tour alongside his brothers Nick and Kevin Jonas, the singer returned to New York City.
