Rachel Leviss quits Vanderpump Rules Season 11 to salvage mental health
Rachel Leviss is spending time with her family in Arizona while Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules continues filming
Rachel Leviss is saying goodbye to her reality show life following an explosive finale of Vanderpump Rules Season 10 earlier this year.
In March, the former beauty queen landed on the bad side of the internet after it was revealed that she had been having an affair with Tom Sandoval, then boyfriend of her now ex-best friend Ariana Madix.
In the Vanderpump Rules Season 10 reunion filmed after the affair was exposed, Leviss faced the public’s wrath as well as the cast members, all of whom sided with Madix during the entire ordeal.
Leviss went on to check into a mental health facility after admitting her issues with co-dependency and unhealthy relationship patterns.
According to Entertainment Tonight, a source revealed that the reality star has no interest in filming for the Season 11 of the show, despite checking out of the facility last month.
They shared Leviss has been enjoying some downtime with her family in Arizona, keeping herself away from the drama and toxicity.
"Rachel has been spending time with her family in Arizona since leaving the mental health facility,” the insider told the outlet. “Rachel has been receiving letters from people opening up about their own mental health journey and applauding her for taking time away from filming to focus on her mental health.”
“Rachel is in a really good place and has been enjoying a slower pace of life. She's been doing Pilates and often goes hiking,” they added.
As for her fate in the reality TV world, the source didn’t confirm a return. "Rachel knows that if she films for Vanderpump Rules it won't be good for her mental health. She feels she already said what she needed to say at the reunion and she's putting that all behind her and is moving forward," they said.
"Rachel hasn't filmed for the new season of Vanderpump Rules, but it's not fully off the table,” the insider added.
