'Yellowstone' not caused Kevin Costner divorce: report
Speculations arose Kevin Costner's divorce was due to 'Yellowstone'
Yellowstone has no connection with the ending of Kevin Costner's 18 years-long marriage.
The rumor mills churned that Christine Baumgartner sought separation was somehow connected to the critically acclaimed Western drama.
But, an insider shut down the reports adding the divorce "has nothing to do with Yellowstone" and added, "The two situations are unrelated," according to PEOPLE.
Costner and Baumgartner walked down the aisle in 2004 and have three children.
Previously, the 68-year-old's rep said the pair is separating due to "circumstances beyond [Costner's] control" and added, "We ask that his, Christine's, and their children's privacy be respected as they navigate this difficult time."
Meanwhile, the link between the star's shocking divorces and the Paramount series attracted eyeballs due to Baumgartner's ultimatum to her then-husband to leave the show or ‘ride into the sunset.'
According to RadarOnline, “It's (Yellowstone) really knocked a hole in their family life,' further adding that the 'show may be a mega-hit, producers want it to go on forever! However, Christine wants her husband to hang up his cowboy hat, with an insider saying her patience is starting to fray," a close friend to the couple said.
"She wants a firm commitment. This is his last season — or he might have to hit the dusty trail!" the report added.
