Career counsellor Sobia Younus at Roots International Schools, visited Webster University, Thailand recently. Roots International School is dedicated to providing the best and the quality education and placement opportunities on the national and international level to the students. The mission statement of Department of Global Reach, School Links and International Placements is to empower all students to reach their fullest potential by providing a comprehensive school counselling program to facilitate their academic, career, and social development. We provide our students with Complete, exact and recent information so that they can select better University/College for themselves.

To take this mission forward, Webster University Thailand organised a visit for the Counsellor Sobia Younus to get an insight to the opportunities that they are offering for the international students. She visited Webster University Thailand, Bangkok Campus and Cha-am Campus and met with the Director of Students Affairs Mr. Phillip E. Gwaltney, Head Of Department International Relations Program Dr. Kenneth Houston, MA IR Coordinator Mr. Jason Briggs, Assistant Admissions Manager Ms. Ubonrat Muensakda, other faculty and staff members of Webster University and discussed Undergraduate programs, grade requirements for acceptance, scholarship opportunities, fee’s structure, the overall accommodation expense and life in Thailand.

She also met Pakistani students who are currently studying in Webster University Thailand and discussed about their experiences in Webster University. Overall it was a very productive visit as now RIS can easily guide the students who are aiming for Webster University this year and in coming years.
