Official held for opening question papers before time
BAHAWALPUR
The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Bahawalpur, Saturday cancelled the paper of physics of the first group of 10th grade and announced taking this paper on April 4 in Bahawalpur, Bahawalnagar and Rahimyar Khan districts.
According to the BISE Bahawalpur examination controller Prof Akram Tarr, the paper was cancelled owing to massive copying in the Sheikh Zayed Higher Secondary School, Rahimyar Khan on Saturday morning. He said an FIR has been lodged against the examination hall superintendent Javed Iqbal and deputy superintendent Muhammad Hanif and they both were also arrested when they allegedly opened the seal of question papers package half an hour before the scheduled time. He alleged the candidates of the centre were busy in copying the questions.

He claimed that four gangsters broke into his house and looted everything which he had earned from Canada in three years on Feb 27. He said that an FIR was registered by the Bahauddin Zakariya police. Later, he added, officials of the police, Special Branch and CTD visited his house to collect evidences, however, one dacoit was identified as Sajid Omar of Tehsil Kabirwala and he was wanted in more than 70 cases of murder and robbery.
