Punjab University Centre for South Asian Studies (CSAS) in collaboration with Department of Political Science organised a seminar on “Iran and Middle East: Prospect of Detente with the West” in its Seminar Hall. According to a press release issued here Wednesday, a scholar from France Dr Clenent Threme was the guest speaker while Director CSAS Prof Dr Umbreen Javaid, faculty members and MPhil/PhD scholars from Centre for South Asian Studies and Department of Political Science were present on the occasion. Dr Clenent Threme elaborated in his lecture the Iranian regional role in Middle East and its positive gesture in the ongoing political turmoil among the regional players of Middle East.
