AhlE Sunnat Wal Jamaat (ASWJ) chief Maulana Muhammad Ahmad Ludhianvi Tuesday said the 2013 general elections were rigged.
Addressing a press conference at Jamia Farooqia at Kamalia, Ludhianvi said previous decisions of the election tribunals (ETs) had proved rigging in the polls while all political parties had admitted that elections were rigged.
He said the ETs decision against Khawaja Saad Rafique was not a new thing as already an ET had disqualified MNA Sheikh Muhammad Akram of NA-89 (Jhang) and declared him (Ludhianvi) as winner but the Supreme Court issued a stay order against the ET decision and so far the SC had not started the trial of the appeal of Sheikh Akram.
