EVACUEE Trust Property Board (ETPB) Chairman Siddiq-ul-Farooq on Friday said that every citizen should have a basic civil defence training to deal with the prevailing situation of the country.
According to a press release issued, speaking at a certificate distribution ceremony of the security guards held at his office on Friday, the ETPB chairman said equipping Board’s security guards with necessary training would help a great deal to respond any untoward incident. He opined that every federal as well as provincial institute should have the basic training of civil defnece so that they may have protected themselves from any untoward incident in future. He said the trained guards would be deployed at Board’s educational institutes and sacred places of Hindu and Sikh communities. Siddiq-ul-Farooq said after the approval from the federal government modern weapons would also be provided to these guards.
