LAHORE: Hi-Tech Lubricants Limited, the company behind ZIC engine oil brand, has increased its corporate and social welfare investment by expanding its trust-run school, the Ilm-Gah Schools.
Shaukat Hassan, Director Hi-Tech Lubricants Limited stated that the company is in the process of becoming a publicly listed company on the domestic exchange of Pakistan.
He further stated that during the last five years since the establishment of the Ilm-Gah schools by Hi-Tech Lubricants Limited, the company has met success in providing free of cost English medium educational facilities to hundreds of children belonging to the poorest families.
“The Company started the Ilm-Gah project in 2010, under the name of “Sabra Hamida Trust” with the motive of transforming the fate of the destitute children of the country by educating them and enabling them to play their role for the brighter future of Pakistan,” he told.
The trust has now more learning space, teachers and all other educational tools and the schools’ education curriculum is comparable with that of any other private school in the country with full access to free uniform, books, stationery and meals every day (with no tuition fee).
The trust further supports brilliant students till their higher education at University level. Additionally, investment in the educational facilities for the dis-advantaged segment of the society, the Hi-Tech Lubricants Limited also invests in many other social responsibility areas, such as the expansion of the sport of cricket, flood-relief fund contribution, and other activities for promoting road safety and disciplined traffic behaviour in association with the traffic police department of different cities. Under the latter initiative, the company has also provided helmets.
