KARACHI: JS Bank has been recognised for its admirable Corporate Social Responsibility efforts at the 8th National CSR Excellence Awards Ceremony 2015.
The 8th National CSR Excellence Awards were organised by the prestigious CSR Association of Pakistan at a local hotel on Wednesday. JS Bank was awarded in the special category of “Collaborations and Partnership” for working on the overall betterment of society.
The award recognises the overall social impact JS Bank has had through its various programmes in the areas of health, education, sustainable development, and relief efforts across the country.
The bank conducts its CSR activities through the charitable arm of JS Group, Mahvash and Jahangir Siddiqui Foundation. Over the years the initiatives led by the foundation have touched and improved lives of numerous Pakistanis.
Prominent personalities belonging to corporate sector, government organisations, NGO’s, academia, and media attended the event. It is said that many national and international organisations had submitted their nominations, out of which JS Bank was selected by a panel of judges.
