Non-essential offices at CM Secretariat being closed
The offices engaged in providing the non-essential services at the Sindh Chief Minister House are being closed due to the ongoing fourth wave of coronavirus infections in the country.
A notification to this effect was issued by Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Sajid Jamal Abro on Monday. The offices of 14 sections of the CM Secretariat, however, will remain functional during this period. These sections relevant to the provision of essential services will remain functional with presence of the minimum possible staff.
The staff of the remaining sections of the CM Secretariat have been asked to work from home. The principal secretary to the CM might call to office any essentially required staff on a need basis. Visitors are also not allowed inside the CM House during this period.
