Man who killed sister, her husband held

The investigation branch of the South Range police arrested a man on charges of killing his sister and brother-in-law in Raees Goth earlier this month for marrying of their choice.
Police said the incident had taken place on April 7, 2024, in Raees Goth of the Mochko area, where Javed and his wife Deedar were shot dead, and a one-and-a-half-year-old girl was injured.
The couple had married of their choice four years ago and had been living in Raees Goth. A case was registered against Malook Hussain, Shakeel and Shabbir, Mohammad Hussain, brothers of the slain woman, under sections 302/324/34 of the PPC. An investigation team, headed by Sub-Inspector Mumtaz Tanoli, was formed. The team arrested Malook Hussain in a raid in Baldia.
