Caitlin Clark's relationship timeline with boyfriend Connor McCaffery
Iowa Hawkeyes star is dating fellow basketball player
Caitlin Clark, an American basketball star, is dating Connor McCaffery, who is a fellow basketball player as well as a former Hawkeye himself.
In April 2023, the couple started their relationship but they didn't make it public until four months later when Clark revealed her involvement with Connor via a picture on her social media. "Best end to summer," she captioned a series of images, which showed the couple cuddling each other on a boat.
Moreover, Connor also wrote a tribute to Clark on her 22nd birthday. “Happy Birthday 22. Wish I was there to celebrate with you – you deserve the best day. Golden Bday/T Swift year will be the best yet,” he wrote in a post in January 2024.
“With all that you’ve already accomplished, there is so much more in store for you and your special self. I admire you in every way and I love you,” he added.
Connor's prediction about Clark that there would be "so much more in store" for her was right as after a month, the basketball star was the all-time leading scorer in NCAA women's basketball history when she beat Kelsey Plum’s 3,527 points, according to People.
Who is Caitlin Clark's boyfriend?
After graduating from the University of Iowa in May 2023, Connor landed a job in professional sports. For the NBA’s Indiana Pacers, he also worked as a team assistant.
Connor was a dual athlete during his time at Iowa. Additionally, he worked toward his two bachelor's degrees in finance and political science, when he wasn’t training or competing with his team.
