Man beaten to death, son injured in clash

A man was beaten to death and his son was injured during a clash in a Surjani Town neighbourhood on Sunday, said a police official. The official said the deceased was identified as 50-year-old Darham Khan, son of Shirin Khan, and his injured son as 22-year-old Asif Khan.
Police said the two victims were residents of the Lasi Goth area. The official said the father and son had been called by the suspects to Surjani Town, where they killed Darham and injured his son during a clash that had broken out between the two groups. Police said the suspects had killed the father by hitting his head with a heavy object, adding that they have registered a case and started investigating.
