Usman Buzdar announces opening of BoP branch in Musakhel

LAHORE:Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar visited Musakhel, the most backward district of Balochistan on Tuesday, the 3rd day of Eid. Tribal leaders and other notables of the area called on the chief minister.

Usman Buzdar exchanged Eid greetings with the tribal leaders and local people. He announced establishing Rescue 1122, setting up of Bank of Punjab branch, installation of ATM on the behalf of Punjab government. He also announced setting up of NADRA office in Musakhel. He said that more steps would be taken in this regard after consulting with the federal government. He said that buses would also be provided for the colleges in Musakhel. Usman Buzdar said that vehicles would be provided for the Rescue 1122 station. Setting up of Rescue 1122 station will provide relief to the residents of Musakhel, tribal area of Punjab and adjoining areas of KP. He said that this area was neglected for the decades whereas the PTI government considered the development of backward areas as its mission. He said that he visited Balochistan with the message of good will and love for the Baloch people. He said that amount had been deposited for the supply of electricity in Darg, the tehsil of Musakhel. The areas of Jaffar, Qaiserani and Buzdar tribes would be electrified.

Usman Buzdar said that he was the first chief minister who visited the backward district in the last 73 years. He said that Balochistan was his second home. He said that Punjab would extend all-out cooperation with Balochistan government for setting up Rescue 1122 station.

Usman Buzdar said that people should not avoid precautionary measures and show responsibility as their protection and security of their loved ones depended on following the SOPs devised by government against the pandemic.

hometown: Usman Buzdar went to Barthi on Tuesday, met tribal leaders, local people and exchanged Eid greetings with them at Buzdar House, Barthi.

Usman Buzdar also went to the grave of his late father Sardar Fateh Muhammad and offered Fateha. He also went to Katchiwanga and condoled with the family members over the sad demise of Malik Ahmed Khan, offered Fateha for the departed soul of Malik Ahmed Khan.

Later, the chief minister performed Dastaarbandi of son of late Malik Ahmed Khan. He said that he was with the people of the area on the occasion of Eid. Former rulers completely neglected the backward areas of Punjab, he added. Peoples’ problems of remote areas increased due to the wrong priorities of former rulers. Self-obsessed leaders launched the projects for their self-projection. People did not get any benefit from these projects and national resources were wasted. He said that the PTI government had focused on fulfilling the people’s needs. He said that public service is in his blood.

He was determined to change the destiny of the people of the province, he said adding that we did not betray the people and every citizen of Punjab was very close to my heart like people of Barthi. I can understand the people’s problems and will not break the connection with them.

Local people of the area praised the chief minister for public service saying that Usman Buzdar is public leader in true sense and he is people-friendly leader like his father. They said that Usman Buzdar did not forget his area even after becoming the chief minister. They said that by making Usman Buzdar chief minister, PM had done a great job for the people of backward area.

notice: Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has taken notice of abduction of three policemen in Kacha area of Rojhan and sought a report. He said the kidnappers should be brought to book as soon as possible.

Usman Buzdar has taken notice of murder of Hafiz-e-Quran student in the area of Kasur and sought a report form Inspector General Punjab Police.

Usman Buzdar extended heartfelt sympathies and condolences to the bereaved family members. He sought a report from the administration about the accident.

Usman Buzdar after offering Eidul Fitr prayer visited the residence of martyred pilot Captain Sajjad Gul in Defence and condoled with Gul Muhammad Bhatti, the father of martyred pilot, his wife, son Usman, daughter and other family members.
