'Spider-Man 4' director shares big update on upcoming film
'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' is scheduled to release in cinemas on July 31, 2026
Spider-Man: Brand New Day director just shared a major update about the upcoming fourth MCU movie.
Director Destin Daniel Cretton took to his Instagram handle on Friday to share that Spider-Man 4 has officially wrapped filming.
Expressing gratitude to everyone involved in bringing the movie to life, Destin penned, "I’m so deeply grateful for the people who walked with me through the biggest, most rewarding film I’ve ever been a part of."
In the lengthy note, Destin also gave a shoutout to Tom Holland. He praised the actor for his “kind, generous leadership on and off screen, for your relentless work ethic, your fearless performances, and for your friendship.”
He also applauded the rest of the cast and crew, writing, “I love you all so much and can’t wait for the world to see your stunning work on the big screen.”
“To our amazing cast, for breathing so much life into these beloved characters and moving us every day,” he continued.
“To our unbelievable crew, who worked tirelessly with unmatched creativity and craftsmanship, who made me laugh so hard my stomach never stopped hurting," added Destin.
For those unversed, the Spider-Man: Brand New Day is scheduled to release in cinemas on July 31, 2026.
