Attock Petroleum’s profit falls 44pc
KARACHI: Attock Petroleum Limited’s profit fell 44 percent to Rs2.387 billion for the nine months period ended March 31, 2019, translating into earnings per share (EPS) of Rs23.99, a bourse filing said on Friday.
Attock Petroleum Limited earned Rs4.263 billion with EPS of Rs42.84 during the corresponding period a year earlier.
The company has already paid an interim cash dividend of Rs10/share. It didn’t announce payout for the nine-month period.
The company’s sales increased to Rs164.448 billion for the July-March period compared to Rs121.748 billion in the corresponding period a year earlier. Other income rose to Rs712.057 million compared to Rs604.179 million. Finance costs jumped 51 percent to Rs626 million in the period under review.
Attock Petroleum earned profit of Rs284.483 million for the third quarter (January-March) with EPS of Rs2.86 as against Rs1.453 billion with EPS of Rs14.6 in the corresponding period a year earlier.
