Woman gives birth to baby in Rescue 1122 ambulance

GUJRANWALA: A woman gave birth to a baby in the Rescue 1122 ambulance when she was being shifted to the DHQ Hospital here on Sunday.

Saima, wife of Basharat and a resident of Kot Shera, called Rescue 1122 to shift her to a hospital for delivery. However, she gave birth to a baby when she was on the way to the hospital.

PATWARI HELD: The ACE on Sunday arrested a patwari for taking bribe from a citizen.

Shoaib of Mandi Bahauddin gave application to the ACE in which he alleged that accused patwari Asif was demanding bribe from him to issue him ‘Fard’ of his property. At this, the ACE team raided and caught the accused patwari red-handed when he was receiving bribe from the complainant.

VALUABLES GUTTED: Valuables were gutted when a fire broke out in a plastic factory here on Sunday.

The fire broke out in the factory due to short circuit. As a result, valuables were burnt within no time.
