Child abuse
Child abuse is one of the heinous crimes practiced across the world. In countries like Pakistan, hundreds of thousands of children are sexually abused. This abuse left an irreversible effect on children’s minds. Child abuse is equivalent to robbing children’s childhood.
It is heartrending that the number of incidents relating to child abuse has been increasing in the country. On an average, around 10 children are abused daily. This is an horrific image of how unsafe children are. The saddest part is that culprits are not punished for this crime. But, enough is enough. This sad state needs to be changed. The entire nation should stand up and fight against this crime. The government should set a helpline where such incidents can be reported. Awareness campaign should be held to tell children when and what incident should be reported. Together we can get rid of this crime.
