FGEHF hands over possession of 380 plots to allottees in Sector G-14

Federal Government Employees Housing Foundation (FGEHF) on Wednesday handed over possession of 380 residential plots to allottees of Sector G-14 but still a large number of owners are still waiting to get final allotment letters.
Director General FGEHF Waqas Ali Mehmood distributed possession letters among 380 allottees having plots located in some parts of land of Sectors G-14/2 and G-14/3. However, the FGEHF is yet to make any progress on getting possession of land falling in Sector G-14/1.
“The housing foundation has not been able to resolve issue of Built up Property (BuP) in Sector G-14/1 and to insult to injury, we are facing serious problems in getting final allotment letters,” an allottee of the sector said.
Waqas Ali Mehmood told the gathering that the contractor has completed development work in area where around 1,000 plots are located, while 380 allottees are being handed over possession letters.
He said that 85% area of the land in Sector G-14/2 and G-14/3 where the contractor was carrying out development work had been cleared from encroachments.
He said that according to the satellite survey, there are 580 houses and 220 structures in sectors G-14/1 and G-14/2 respectively while 122 affectees in sectors G-14/2 and G-14/3 have allowed the teams to conduct measurement already started by the Land Acquisition Collector Islamabad.
According to the FGEHF official, the affected people of Sectors G-14 are being allotted plots in Sector G-15/3. The layout play of Sector G-15/3 has already been sent to the Capital Development Authority (CDA) for approval.
