Eight injured as school van overturns

LAHORE:Eight people were injured when a school van overturned in the Manga Mandi area on Monday. The accident occurred when the van lost control and overturned, according to emergency services Rescue 1122. Rescue 1122 teams responded to the emergency call and rushed to the accident site. Seven of the injured were taken to RHC Manga for treatment, while one person with more serious injuries was shifted to Jinnah Hospital.

Three suspected kidnappers arrested

Police Monday arrested three people suspected of kidnapping and torturing a man. According to Sundar Police, accused Shahbaz, Ali Murtaza, and Tayyab allegedly abducted M Ismail after he asked them for money to buy food.

Two held over not stopping at checkpoint

Police Monday arrested two people who did not stop their car at a police checkpoint. According to a police spokesperson, a police officer signaled a car with tinted windows at Shera Kot checkpoint, but the vehicle occupants fled. The police chased and arrested them at a toll plaza on Raiwind Road. The accused exchanged harsh words with police and offered resistance. The police seized the vehicle and arrested the accused identified as Mohsin and Fazal.
