IGP wants people-friendly staff at model police stations

Sindh police chief Ghulam Nabi Memon on Monday stressed that people-friendly and experienced staff with good manners and polite speech be deployed at all the model police stations.

During a meeting he chaired at the Central Police Office, IG Memon ordered completing the renovation and decoration of all the model police stations as soon as possible. He also decided establishing model police stations in interior Sindh.

Divisional DIGs and district SSPs briefed the meeting about the renovation and decoration of model police stations, and the available facilities. The IG ordered taking special care to maintain a pleasant environment and cleanliness at police stations.

He also ordered making extraordinary security arrangements ahead of Ramazan, and intensifying efforts to arrest habitual criminals and absconding accused, who he said are involved in most crimes.
