Almost every official now has a whole fleet of vehicles, complete with armed guards. These protocols often tend to ignore the rules of the road and are known for speeding, in particular.
In this way, they are a threat to the public. The use of protocols and armed guards needs to be more regulated and officials should have to justify why they need so many cars and guards. No civilised society allows public servants to behave this way.
