Man killed in firing on bus in Lakki Marwat

LAKKI MARWAT: A man was killed when armed men, believed to be bundits, opened fire on a passenger bus near Masoodabad area on Manjiwala Link Road, officials said on Saturday.
A police official said that the incident took place in the limits of the City Police Station, adding that the bus was going to Lahore from Bannu.
As a result of the attack, they said, a passenger namely Ishfaq, a resident of Bannu, received serious injuries and died on the spot,” he maintained.
The official said that the body was shifted to the Government City Hospital for post-mortem examination.
He said that investigation was launched into the incident after registration of a case under relevant sections of late.
