Senior journalist passes away
LAHORE: Senior journalist Emanuel Sarfraz passed away here on Monday. He started his career in 1995 with daily The Nation as a subeditor. Later, he became the magazine editor. He was a prolific writer and he contributed a number of stories to various newspapers and magazines on different topics. He will be laid to rest in Lahore. Meanwhile, the Provincial Minister for Minorities Ramesh Singh Arora has expressed deep sense of sorrow and grief over the death of General Secretary of the YMCA and senior journalist Emanuel Sarfraz. The minister said that his sudden departure is a great loss to the media fraternity and the wider community. The minister also offered condolences to his family, friends, and all those who had the honour of working with him.
