ISLAMABAD JAN 09- The Supreme Court on Thursday dismissed a chamber appeal against the Registrar Office objections on a plea seeking action against former chief justice Qazi Faez Isa and Justice (retd) Sardar Tariq Masood.
Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhail heard the chamber appeal and dismissed it for being infructuous.
The petitioner had filed the appeal against the Registrar objections on his petition seeking action against Justice (retd) Isa and Justice (retd) Masood.
In his petition the petitioner had contended that despite the apex court had stayed the Supreme Court (Practice and Procedure) Act 2023, both former judges used to hear cases, seeking action against the two judges.
The Registrar Office, however, had raised objections over the petition against which he had filed the chamber appeal in the apex court.
