PESHAWAR: Indonesian diplomats on Friday invited Khyber Pakhtunkhwa businessmen to make investments in their country and offered multiple facilities along with a five-year tax holiday.
Rahmat Hindiarta Kusuma, chargé d'affaires, and Axelsyah R Miraza, economic attaché and M Syofiyan Sur of the embassy of Republic of Indonesia made the offer during a visit to the chamber.
The diplomats presented highlighted the potential to boost the trade between Indonesia and Pakistan.
Kusuma stressed the need for the establishment of business-to-business contacts and taking mutual benefits from each other's potential and experience and promotion of cooperation in multiple sectors, including tourism, education, health and others.
The diplomats responded to various queries from the participants.
They said proactive initiatives were needed to tap potentials of the both countries to enhance the trade volume between Indonesia and Pakistan.
The diplomats called for the removal of obstacles to mutual trade and the gap between the business community and the people of both countries.
They said Indonesia was giving much importance to enhancing bilateral trade relations and cooperation in multiple sectors with Pakistan.
