ISLAMABAD: The majority of Pakistani people are strongly opposed to the bribery culture and consider it as one of the main causes of deterioration in the society, according to a survey conducted between February 29 and March 15, 2024.
In the survey, 93 percent Pakistanis strongly opposed giving and receiving bribes, calling it a social evil, saying that the culture of bribery had hollowed our country’s economy. Some 5 percent supported bribery and presented various justifications. However, 1 percent took the middle position, neither supporting nor openly opposing bribery. Only 1 percent avoided giving any answer to the question.
