Five health officials transferred
JHANG: The Punjab Primary and Secondary Healthcare secretary has relieved five officials and directed them to report to the Provincial Health Department.
DCO Nadir Chattha, on repeated public complaints regarding corruption and other charges, had ordered the district monitoring officer to hold an inquiry against DHO office accountant Haji Manzoor, EDO office superintendent Abdul Ghaffar, EDO office PA Abdul Sattar and DHQ Hospital technicians Zulfiqar Ali and Nasir Ali.
On receiving report from the DMO against the five officials, the DCO vide his
office memorandum No DCO/DMO/131 requested the Punjab Primary and Secondary Healthcare secretary to immediately transfer them as their services were no more required in the district.
Following the DCO’s letter, the Punjab Primary and Secondary Healthcare secretary vide notification No-SO (G-II) 1-199/2016 has relieved the five health officials from the district.
