Veteran Indian actress Sadhana passes away

MUMBAI: Veteran Indian actress Sadhana Shivdasani died at a private hospital after a brief illness. She was 74, Indian media reported.
According to Indian media, Sadhana, introduced the fringe hairstyle in Indian film industry and also known for films like "Mera Saaya", "Wo Kaun Thi" and "Waqt".
Bollywood personalities, including her former colleague and friend Waheeda Rehman, went to pay their last respects after her body was taken to her residence in suburban Mumbai.

Sadhana was the only child of her parents and her mother home-schooled her until she was eight.
Some of her memorable films include "Love in Simla", "Hum Dono", "Ek Musafir Ek Hasina", "Asli-Naqli", "Mere Mehboob" and "Woh Kaun Thi".
