Akshay Kumar says got stardom through hard work, luck

HOUSTON: Indian film star Akshay Kumar says a lot of people work hard but very few are lucky to attain such a position that he has achieved after 25 years of hard work.

Talking to media in Houston, he said: “If I want to express my feelings in simple words, then I must say that it is only the blessing of God, who has blessed me beyond my wildest dreams.

He said that he started his career with obscure producers as well known filmmakers were not attracted to him. “However, I worked hard and with the blessing of God, I started climbing up and gradually became a hero.

He said secret of success is that you don’t take stress and always have a nice sleep at night, the next morning you are fresh, and then all your work will be of high quality.

“If someone ask me to comment on a movie and I say it is fine, then people call me diplomatic. However, I feel that I don’t have the right to be critical of others work,” he said.

“I face issues in my life like anybody else, but I keep my thinking positive”. I do not go to parties at night and wake up at six in the morning,” said Akhsay.

Talking about his current tour to US, the mega star said the fusion 2015 tour which he has brought into US has his 25 years of collection of songs filmed for various movies.
