Deepika Padukone speaks out on pregnancy rumours, motherhood
Deepika says, “Pregnancy will happen at some point in my life. It is unfair to put women and a couple through that pressure.”
MUMBAI: Deepika Padukone, who got married to Ranveer Singh last year, has dismissed pregnancy rumours, Indian media reported.
Padmaavat actor is currently one of the top actresses slammed those speculations cropping up after her marriage. However, she opened up about motherhood.
Deepika says, “Pregnancy will happen at some point in my life. It is unfair to put women and a couple through that pressure.”
She went on to say that the day people stop asking women questions about pregnancy and motherhood is the day we all will bring change.
On the work front, Deepika Padukone will be next seen in Meghna Gulzar's 'Chhapaak' in which she plays the role of an acid attack victim. It is co-produced by Deepika
Recently, the first look of Deepika was revealed from the film. The film also stars Vikrant Massey.
The film will hit screens on 10th January, 2020.
