Pakistani veteran actor Bushra Ansari is making waves for a peaceful anthem she released that is all the rage on social media these days as it comes in the midst of strains between India and Pakistan.
The rap song ‘Humsaye Maa Jaye’ sung by the two gems of Pakistani television Bushra Ansari and her sister Asma Abbas was penned by the third Ansari sister Neelum Ahmed Bashir, and acts as a pacifying foot forward towards our neighbours across the border.
The video was released on Bushra’s official YouTube channel with a description that reads: “a music video that goes beyond war and borders to the hearts of people living so close, and yet so far away."
Asma and Bushra can be seen in the vivid and endearing video playing next door neighbors in Pakistan and India respectively as they hum in Punjabi heart touching lyrics that show the real perspective that common citizens in both the countries possess and how it is poles apart from the animosity that is fueled by the media.
