Ranbir Kapoor angers #MeToo supporters in India

Ranbir Kapoor who accepted the award for the critically acclaimed 2018 film not just expressed his gratitude to the director Rajkumar Hirani who is presently tangled in sexual harassment allegations, but went on to call him an ‘amazing human being’ which resulted in fury unleashing online amongst the supporters of the #MeToo movement in India.

Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor is attracting ample fury on social media after fans appeared to be not too pleased with the speech he gave while accepting the Best Actor award for Sanju.

The Brahmastra actor who accepted the award for the critically acclaimed 2018 film not just expressed his gratitude to the director Rajkumar Hirani who is presently tangled in sexual harassment allegations, but went on to call him an ‘amazing human being’ which resulted in fury unleashing online amongst the supporters of the #MeToo movement in India.

Reports revealed that Ranbir was all praises in his victory speech for the alleged harasser and completely disregarded all the conflicts he is surrounded by.

Many social media users went on to compare the actor with Rami Malek who after winning his Academy Award for Best Actor in Bohemian Rhapsody entirely ignored the director Bryan Singer who is also facing charges of sexual misconduct by multiple women.
