LAHORE: The prolonged defamation suit against Meesha Shafi by Ali Zafar will get wrapped up till April 15 upon the directives of a district sessions judge.
The defamation suit filed by Zafar last year against Shafi was asked to be disposed within a month by the former through a plea filed via his counsel last week to an additional district and sessions court.
Zafar’s plea asserted that no additional adjournments should be given to the singer and her counsel as they result in the court’s time getting wasted, while also adding that the decision be revealed within the span of a month.
The suit filed in response to Shafi’s allegations of sexual harassment against Zafar claimed damaged of Rs1 billion for placing false allegations on him.
