Jennifer Aniston all set to play America's first female president in upcoming Netflix film
LOS ANGELES: Famed Hollywood actress Jennifer Aniston of TV show ‘Friends’ fame will be seen playing the character of America’s first female, lesbian president in Netflix’s upcoming television movie ‘First Ladies’.
Reports have confirmed that Netflix has obtained rights of the film after a crucial bidding war. The movie is going to star Jennifer Aniston opposite Tig Notaro as protagonists, the duo projecting a lesbian married couple.
The comedy movie is reportedly based on the famous saying “behind every great woman is another great woman” and chronicles the life of President Beverly Nicholson and her wife Kasey after they move into the White House.
The movie has been written by lead actress Notaro herself, along with her wife Stephanie Allyne.
'First Ladies' is Jennifer Aniston’s second collaboration with Netflix. She will also be seen opposite Adam Sandler in the Netflix comedy' Murder Mystery'.
