Famed stylist Nabila shares her two cents on Meesha-Ali conflict

The Meesha Shafi and Ali Zafar debacle has one more response from one of the industry’s most prominent hair and makeup artists, Nabila.

Founder of one of Pakistan’s high-class salons, Nabila had earlier taken to Facebook to express her somewhat ambiguous opinion on the issue surrounding Meesha’s allegations placed on Ali Zafar.

Starting her post with “WE STAND WITH THE TRUTH”, she continued detailing her relationship with the two stars.

“I’ve known Ali Zafar since he was at college. In fact, it won’t be wrong if I claim being responsible for scouting him by doing his first ever shoot. I knew he was a star when I saw his eye contact with the camera lense…. the rest is history,” stated her note.

Moving on to Meesha, the makeup guru said, “I have also known Meesha Shafi professionally and seen her develop from being a model to a successful musician and a fine professional. She is a true millennial, juggling children, talent, career and home. Meesha is inspiring, cool, rebellious, firm, strong, and by no means meek or submissive.”

Concluding her statement, Nabila said, “Regardless of gender, age, cast, creed or status, it’s never acceptable to force yourself upon another person without their consent. It’s also not acceptable to ever be violated and stay silent with shame. We stand with the truth!”
