Alia Bhatt transformed into an Indian spy in upcoming film ‘Raazi’

Alia Bhatt’s highly anticipated Bollywood film ‘Raazi’ is getting ready to pave its way into theaters after the release of its first trailer.

The Meghna Gulzar directed spy thriller reveals elements of love, betrayal and patriotism in its story line. Encircling the life of the naive protagonist named Sehmat, the story set during the Indo-Pakistan war of 1971, takes us into the dire circumstances that transform her into an Indian spy.

Upon the insistence of her father she is married to a Pakistani military officer. Sehmat proves to be a headstrong and well-trained Indian spy and gathers noteworthy information even in times of extreme turmoil.

Alongside Alia Bhatt, the film is featuring a dignified cast including Vicky Kaushal, Soni Razdan, Jaideep Ahlawat and Rajit Kapur.

The Karan Johar and Vineet Jain produced film will be ready to hit theaters on May 11th.
