DERBY: In an attempt to save her mobile, a 12-year-old brave girl scuffled with a man who brutally beaten and took away her iPhone, the scene, captured on CCTV, went viral on internet.
While police have arrested a 22-year-old man from Derby in connection with the incident which happened on Cambridge Street on Sunday afternoon.
The footage showing that the girl attempted to fight off the assailant for 25 seconds before he eventually made off with her rose gold iPhone.
The victim was walking along a path from some shops, having run an errand for her mother, when she was attacked by a man outside.
