Famed singing sensation Rihanna, born as Robyn Rihanna Fenty, is celebrating her 30th birthday today.

The Barbadian singer is winner of nine Grammy Awards, 12 Billboard Music Awards and eight People’s Choice Awards, among many other accolades.

Rihanna shot to fame with the release of her debut album 'Music of the Sun' and its follow-up named 'A Girl like Me', which charted on the top 10 of the US Billboard 200.

Her famous songs include 'Love the Way you Lie', 'Umbrella', 'We Found Love', 'This is What You Came For' and 'Diamond', to name a few.

Rihanna is also credited for selling the most number of albums in the United States, amounting to approximately 10 million.

Moreover, Nielsen SoundScan – information and sales tracking system – ranked her as the best-selling digital artist in the country, breaking a Guinness World Record for digital single sales of over 58 million in 2012.

Rihanna recently ventured into the beauty industry with the launch of her brand ‘Fenty Beauty’.
