AMSTERDAM: A low-cost airplane is making rounds on social media for making a windy emergency stop after a scrap broke out amid flight because of a passenger suffering from flatulence and indigestion.

The low-budget, Dutch airline Transavia’s plane was flying from Dubai to Amsterdam when things got heated up in the cabin and two Dutch men sparked a fight with a passenger who could not control the constant release of his intestinal gas.

When the chaotic situation between the passengers got terribly out of hand, the airline staff had to step in and take matters into their own hands.

That is when the pilot decided to make an emergency landing at Vienna.

Soon after the landing, officers with dogs boarded the plane and the four suspects caught up in the feud, were ushered out.

A police official, in conversation with international media had affirmed that the turmoil was centered around a passenger who was suffering from wind and was not willing to pin down, which brought severe discomfort to the young Dutchmen seated beside him.

Two sisters seated near the Dutchmen were also escorted outside, but talking to the media, they revealed that they had nothing to do with it.

An airline spokesperson has declared that all four passengers have been barred from future travels.
