Gone are the days of spotting novice bicycle or motorbike stunts while on the road, as this daredevil behind the wheels in the white van has set the bar for vehicular stunts way too high.
The footage of the van doing what in technical terms is referred to as a ‘stoppie’ was filmed by a bystander in New Zealand’s city of Christchurch, post midnight. The driver was seen thrusting on the brakes to a level that led the van leaning forward to a headstand, balancing on the bonnet entirely.
The video of this daredevil has gathered up thousands of views online after getting posted by a 21 year old mechanic in the area who wished to keep his identity off the record.
The eyewitness found the entire occurrence comical and stated that there were about 40 spectators present at the time. Despite the risk of the stunt, there was no harm reported to have been caused by the episode.
The New Zealand Police have released a proclamation saying they are aware of the video and will take measures as necessary.
