Salman Khan's Sultan wins three awards at Tehran Film Festival
Bollywood’s 2016 blockbuster hit film ‘Sultan’ wins big at Tehran’s International Sports Film Festival after bringing home three awards.
The romantic wrestling drama’s lead actor Salman Khan scored himself the award for the Best Actor whereas his costar, Anushka Shamra won in the category of Best Actress. Both of these distinguished actors also received an honorary diploma in the Long Narrative category.
The film’s director Ali Abbas Zafar also won the award and honorary diploma for Best Director of Long Narrative. He expressed his gratitude to the organizers of Tehran International Sports Film Festival for their appreciation and love.
The film orbits the life of a wrestler who struggles to make a name for himself in the wrestling world after losing his reputation once.
